Pool Closing September 4th

The pool will be closing for the season on September 4th — The pool will close the Day after Labor Day per our contract with our pool maintenance company.

It is simply not cost-effective to keep it open for the month of September at $250.00 each week.

Hardly anyone uses the pool right now since the children have gone back to school and we can most definitely find better ways to spend that $1,000 within the neighborhood.

You are more than welcome to use the clubhouse and the sitting area around the pool but it will be closed for swimming the day after Labor Day.

Thank You!!

Would You Attend A Septic System Seminar?

We’re thinking of having Red Dirt come out and meet with all the homeowners who are interested in learning about their septic system.  If enough people are interested, then we’ll figure out a date and time next.

Topics might include:

  • How to maintain your septic system
  • What you can and can’t wash down your drains
  • Sprinkler setup
  • Questions and answer

School Has Started!

Summer break is over and another school year has begun!  The summer really flew by this year.  As many of you are aware, let’s be sure to keep an eye out for all the children and buses in the neighborhood in the mornings and afternoons.  This is even more important in phase II with all of the construction that’s going on.  Hopefully in the next few years the neighborhood will be complete and we can forget about all the noise, potholes, and construction workers wandering around.

Hope everyone had a great summer and is ready for a fantastic fall!

Turn on the Lights!

Our neighborhood gets very dark after sunset which can be a little scary for anyone walking around at night.  Let’s all try to turn on our exterior lights at night to help make our neighborhood safer and deter unwanted robbers.

Many homes have programmable light switches that can automatically turn your lights on and off at programmed times of the day.  Some switches will even use the program to turn on the lights at slightly different times for a more random effect.  You can swap out your existing manual switch with one of these and never have to worry about it again!
